Now I realise some people are massive fans of the atrocity that is out white clash jumper, but is there any reason we've never gone back to using a predominately green jumper?

Other than the grass who/what would this clash with?

I also like the all red one. But then again I am in favor of moving to the haze jumper over our home jumper.

Personally i think the full green clash's with the grass colour to much.

I have no problem with the white strip i think it looks very sharp, :thumbsu:

Just a pitty the other teams have jumped on the bandwagon with it. :(

That's the problem i have with the white one, especially in combination with the white shorts.

Constructive...

The bulldog in me would love to see it, I suspect Sydney would have a issue with it though.

I'm also a big fan of the Haze jumper, unfortunately I can't see it becoming anything more than a once a year thing.

NFL teams eg Green Bay, don't have a problem with the 'green jumper on green grass' problem. Not to mention the US TV Networks wield a fair bit more power than our own, and they have no issue with it.

The white jumper, like the green one is a personal thing i guess, you either like it or you don't. I can't stand the white one and i wish they'd change it, i thought a predominately green one was the best alternative...

I'm with you Prattsta :thumbsu:

I personally think the white 'clash' strip is very weak looking and looks undeveloped. And why do we wear it when the 'clash' strip clashes more with the opposition sides strip than our home strip does?

Games against the Pies and Geelong should never be played in the all white strip!!!!!

IMO its far too plain, you can't see the purple that rings the sleeves and collar on TV and it just comes off looking extremely insipid. We need a harder jumper when we go away - the purple anchor on all white, with white shorts is far too weak looking.

The all red and all green jumpers look much sharper, however, I think the club either has to make a decision to cut the red and green and design a better away jumper or incorporate ALL of our teams colours into the jumper, even if it is just two thin strips of red and green down the side of the jumper or something.

I know red and white is the traditional fremantle colours but personally I'm in favour of adopting our new colours, purple and green (both only worn by us) and getting rid of the red altogether.

Who thinks green, purple and white works better as team colours??

That way you can leave the green up the top half of the jumper for both strips and have a white anchor and purple bottom half for HOME and purple anchor and white bottom half for AWAY?

Hows that??

Different game is the NFL,

Im more talking about the players vision to see a target in a congested situiation,

Not about been able to see them on TV.

With the white one it would be alot easier to spot someone when they are too the side of you.

Heres a quick example of what I'm talking about

I think these are actually pretty okay designs but obviously someone with some ability could do better.

I did these on paint!

They are not bad at all Avid Avenger. I like them.
But I do also like our clash jumper...
I just wish we dropped the little anchors on the side of the shorts and socks... they just look so mardi gras

Other than the grass who/what would this clash with?

Eddie Everywhere would say it would still clash with Collingwood's jumper on the black & white set most of their supporters stole back in the seventies.
