The Gardens Race 1
A maiden to kick off the proceedings today. Surf Lorian - Jungle Spirit dog has drawn the red and was well backed on debut, when a slow fourth. last two starts have been in low class non-tab events. But did go well when drew near the rail for the first time. Look for big improvement.
We have a sole debutant #6 BIG SELL who is the more than capable hands of Ron Bell. Dam is un-raced. Sire was handy type. So should go well with the breeding lines of SOLVE THE PUZZLE.
#3 BRACKET looks the likely leader. So will include. And #4 BIDDYKEN DOLL has run the fastest time over this trip out of this field. So given a clear run, may surprise.

#2 PHELAN READY is the litter-mate to #2 in Race 1, who got stomped, checked and bumped, yet was still able to run a huge race for 3rd, even though was 15l beat. In same kennel. So look for good run.
Value betting seems to be #7 ARVO'S JEMMA> So if your looking for a PLACE bet. Have one there.

Which is the best run time for this field. #6,7,8 are still inexperienced and arn't that consistent with form yet, but have run some good times, that is why they are included.

Would you believe it #4 FOOTY BALL has drawn box 4 for the 5th time in a row.
Speedmap has the #6 MONTALE on top here. Has lead several times at Geelong and weakened. So this 298 should suit. #7 BRANDEED TILLY goes well despite the inconsistency. I would say is probably the fastest dog here for this race.
#8 SEA ROBBER won well on debut too.

I fell asleep at 8:30 and didn't have time to set recorder as crashed and burned. Was the run good? Or just pinged and won in a good time?

#2 ZACHARIE BALE is well bred Pure Octane - Fiona Bale. And the litter is racing well in Victoria and is from the more than capable hands of Paul Wheeler.
Has won over this trip in 31.00 which is the fastest time run by any runner in this race.
Drawn well as doesn't have the best pace and likes to charge home. So should get a nice look at the rails.
Will probably be $2.50 or something. But I could be wrong.

#9 RICHMOND FOX the place. Enjoys racing outwide. Has faced far superior chasers towards the end of last year. Gets a good chance from Box 7 today, and should be around $4.50 the place.
#5 MAGGIE LYN is first up since Oct 2008 and in new kennel. #6 RAMBLIN' RUBY is having first race at the track and doesn't have the best recent form to be in the market. Punters are only going to come for those two I would think, especially since the 7 is scratched.
Back the #9 for the place, and you might go alright.
Quinella #1,4,5,6,9 only costs $10. Not bad for a bit of a punt. I would say you would get your money back and more, if the 5 or 6 miss. Especially the 5 who is going to be BIG unders.
