Never said he wasn't, but I don't see how being a quality person would prevent someone from wanting to play footy in his home state alongside his brother.
The words selfish and Josh Carr go well in a sentence.

Van Berlo wants to captain the Crows, and is well liked by the players. Other clubs would adjudicate his trade value based on his on-field performances which are not his strongest suit. Don't see any reason why we'd ship him off.
I wouldn't be at all against getting JVB. Nathan urged the club to consider recruiting him, so he's obviously happy for them both to be here in Adelaide.

your right, Cox with the pussies is a scary combination!!!!
Naughty!We probably just didn't rate him...Agree.
The decision not to recruit Jay was wierd. We PASSED on a rookie draft pick BEFORE Freo took him. Someone on the recruiting staff must have thought they knew some deep, dark secret (probably the year Jay took off from footy to surf, before Nathan's drafting inspired him back into football) - 'cos it doesn't make sense otherwise.
Jay is and was a good footballer, he had already left home for Uni when Rookie drafted, he had switched his AFL allegiance to the Crows when Nathan was drafted and he wouldn't have cost us anything (except a rookie contract). Jay was taken pick 62 by Fremantle in the 2009 Rookie draft, and we didn't use our pick 41!
I know that IRWT, but I scratched my head over that one.
Agree.
