Just like to say how proud I was of Grigg today. Took some really good marks, laid some really important tackles and used the ball well.
He was superb today.

Also Jamison was amazing! I'm telling you, he is going to be a future all australian defender. He is always on his man and his second and third efforts are amazing.

Grigg is getting confident in his ability to play AFL and that he belongs out there. Last week was a glimpse when he took the man on and kicked a goal, our future is looking pretty good.

Really is coming along nicely is Grigg, and he is the perfect player to show why dropping players for a rest to the Ants can be fraught with danger. Let him learn and adapt at the highest level, as dropping would do nothing for him, other than getting leather poisoning for the Ants. Great game Grigga.

I'm usually a hard marker but i'm really liking Grigg.

I first noticed him early in the year in the W/C game over there and wrote about him on here.

He does things RIGHT. from body positioning to decision making to execution to hard running, right through to his delivery.

He is also unselfish in his committment to the team and whatever is required for success on a given day.

Going to be a real goodun' this kid.

i concur he could play down back or midfield or forward. i like that he is tough and a straight kick for goal when he gets the chance. good in heavy traffic.

He's got some very good qualities that will hold him in good stead for the long term, Ratts has used and developed him well. Dont think i saw him do a bad thing today, very impressed and no doubt his best game for the CFC.

I agree, Grigg is good, real good. He was accountable and hardly made any errors today. I love the fact he is hard and not afraid to put his body on the line.

He is looking more and more comfortable each week and is a really good size.

I actually don't shudder now when he gets the ball.

Looks to be improving heaps and hope he just keeps getting better as do the Carlton side!

Very pleased with how he's developing. Is starting to look comfortable out on the field and no longer freezes, not knowing what to do with it. His last few games have been very promising, though he is the type of player that can slip under the radar. Can play in a range of positions too, though I like him as a BP/HBF, where he can play a defensive role and still hurt the opposition going the other way.

Admittedly I wasn't sure about him at the start of the year, but boy, now I'm so very happy with him!

Developing very nicely. I actually feel more confortable when he has the ball as opposed to, say Carrazzo for example, in terms of kicking to targets.

Definately his best game. Praised him a lot tonight. I've said previously that i've felt he wasn't completely ready for AFL, but definately proving me wrong each and every week that goes by.

Good on him.

he looks really comfortable one on one in defense rather than last week against sydney where scotland was isolated and mcveigh kicked 4.
this week grigg won all his one on ones.

he is going to be a good player. very flexible. can play as a midfield tagger, defensive forward tagger or even play a key defensive role as he sort of did today.

well done to ratten who has persisted with him this year and now look whats happening!

Good by Griggy today. No question he has athletic ability to burn, just a matter of improving his decision making and use of the footy.

Jammo is brilliant and a very important cog in our side. Without him the likes of Thornton have to take on way too much. Just remember though, according to Hutchy the fact we haven't promoted him to our senior list is proof we tanked last year!

Was super impressed by Grigga today. Showed great desperation when needed and did all the team things - laid some good shepards, knocks ons etc. Jetta who?

Well done Wayne Hughes. Grigg and Jetta should never be uttered in the same sentence again. He is quick, fearless, team orientated and now he is becoming more and more confident with every week that passes.

Rising star nomination a possibility?

What more did that poor bastard from Brisbane have to do last week? 32 touches in his first game and no nomination. Ridiculous. I think Grigga is the most improved player this year along with Emu. Der?
