Alex Marcou wore #34 as did Ron DeIulio I believe so #34 is not as bad IMO.

Brad Shine wore #10 so did Alan Mangels (I think) so as far back as I can remember 10 has been ordinary at best. That is going back about 25 seasons.

Brad Shine came from my WAFL club Swan Districts. Even today I still wonder why Carlton drafted him. He played a ripper of a game for Swans in the 84 WAFL Granny and was snapped up on that game alone.

He simply was another one of those footballers who were great at either WAFL or SANFL football but could never make the next step up.

Though he did come back and play a few good games for Swans.
