Only change I could see to this could be Melican left out because Melbourne’s forward line isn’t that tall. That would mean Roberts into the 22 as a defender rather than sub and then probably Fox as sub.

Yep, but how good is it when Blakey doesn't have to play as a tall key defender. Having Melican and McCartin allows this.
Blakey and Florent running off half back is very dangerous for the opposition. Add Lloyd as a distributor and happy days.
Cunningham and Florent might be given the jobs on Fritsch and Picket.
Someone needs to f**k with fritsch's hair spray so his hair becomes all floppy. He'll spend the entire game worrying about his hair and using his hands to try and fix it.. A player with no mind or hands is a pretty sh*t player

I had the same thought but then I thought Roberts is the future. We need to get games into him, for his sake and ours, and so that he won't want to leave us. If it was R23 maybe. But R1? I reckon Roberts can get a go and see how he goes and then when it comes to R23 we may be happy to stick with him, or not.

I do worry our on ball depth will be tested if we go without Sheldrick, especially given Melbourne are a very good contested side.
