Where the ******** is he??

Injured or MM doesnt like him.He is certaintly our best ruckmen and we are missing him badly.

While I've been known to jump on the bandwagon of any player who shows something I'm not at all convinced with Fanning. Sure he does some good things and tries hard but he really needs to work on where he runs. Too often was Knobel/Simmonds allowed to get in a dangerous position. I still think Richards 70% of ruckwork and Fraser 30% with C.Cloke/Rocca/Walker there in case is the way to go. Fraser is underrated as a ruckman. Sure he is average in the ruck as far as hit outs (and I think he has improved in this area) but in 2003 he was WINNING games out of the ruck. I can't recall him winning games in the forward line. His ideal position would be HFF pushing up to the wing a bit like Embley does sometimes but we need to have the luxury to do that.

Hoggy's idea has merit, would be even better if our forward line was firing on all cylinders with Rocca and Davidson back....but that means Cam Cloke and Walker will most likely be back at Willy, probably where they belong after todays effort....but these guys need games to develop themselves into top notch future stars of the club
 
I really doubt seeing Walker down at the magpies next year.

I'm a huge fan of fan of Guy Richards....but 12 games (all in one year) on the list in 4 and a bit seasons doesn't bode well for a long career !
I really hope he does become a long term ruckman....but we have to develop Fanning. Cam Cloke is competitive in the ruck, but, Walker simply has little impact on the game either crashing packs or taking marks...showed more last year...
