Guys that have really stood up in 2008...

Won't go in to detail, with leave others to voice their opinions but there are certainly some players that have gone up a notch this year (guys that typically don't get the attention from the media). It is these guys who are a real asset to the side becuase it is what makes Geelong so strong, our second stringers are really really good footballers.

Josh Hunt - was VERY impressed with how he turned around his bad start yesterday. His drive out of defence is invaluable. Flying under the radar for mine.

Matthew Stokes - you can call me biased because he is probably my favourite player, but his form v.s. Essendon was terrific as he his expanding his role. Seems much fitter and is a real tough nut, compared to Milne yesterday I know who i'd rather have.

Harry Taylor - I know you can't compare him to previous years but this kid is realy filling the shoes of Matty Egan. Doesn't get a tonne of the footy but does his job really well.

James Kelly - his improverment has been pretty well noted, really stepping up into that top bracket.

Any thoughts on those i've listed and/or any i've missed out on. I know there are others.

Yeah, I would too, at least in terms of consistency.

I definitely rate the others mentioned in terms of improvement. And let's not forget Blake, Gamble and Tomahawk.

Scarily I think Byrnes might also be better than last year as well.
