GWS uncontracted player period

I might be totally wrong here but last year I remember that GWS had two years to take any uncontracted player they wanted whether they were free agents or not. I also remember crazy Sheedy saying that they had more lined up this year. But I haven't seen this mentioned at all. Does GWS still have the ability to take any uncontracted player they want or am I remembering this incorrectly?

GWS does have the ability to still take uncontracted players this year, but I don't recall Sheedy indicating they had more lined up ready to go this year. I remember comments around bringing in five draftees and five mature bodies, but they didn't specify how they would be bringing in the mature bodies.

GWS can still take an uncontracted player from any club we havent already taken one from.

That said, our cap room has been overwhelmingly taken up by re-signing our own kids ... and Jonathon Giles.

Im expecting a couple more Geriatrics With Scully, but you'll note GWS werent players in the Goddard or Cloke sweepstakes. I dont expect that to change.
