Does it annoy people when you have a bad hair day? I reckon someones haircut says a lot about the personalty of a person. I.e if someone takes pride in how they look, they will usually worry about their haircut.

Cheer up Macca. Now you can show your true love for PAFC and imitate your favorite players in Gurrera and Josh Francou.

Don't worry. Unless you're genetically related to Macca there should be no causal connection between his premature hair loss and and prospective hair loss of your own.

Unless they find a 'cure' for it, basically you're stuffed.

Supposedly the hair loss comes from the mothers side of the family, if the men on you mum's side are bald, then you will more than likely go the same way.

Spot on Docker Brat, I always assumed that you would follow after your Dads side but it isnt, but if the baldness is on your Mums side, well basically either shave it or buy a rug. :D

Brush my hair, tie it back, nice blond ponytail... no problem.

I never have any bad hair days. :D

LOL!

Or even worse, that Michael MacKean character from the flick "Airheads".

Nah, seriously, I look better than that. And I'll confess-- it's not blond-from-a-bottle... it's blond-from-the-hairdressers. :D

Cheers,
William

It comes from your Mums side as it is a sex linked characteristic, and as u get the Y chromosome from your dad it is whether or not you get your mums X chromosome with the balding gene, or if she has one from her mum without the balding gene

That isn't very well explained, but i guess it doesn't really matter either way:P

Fromn what, my friend? The smell of vanity? :D

Honestly, I like the way my blond-ish hair looks, and so does Jen.

Not to mention, it gives me a convenient "excuse" for being me. :D :D :D

Cheers,
William

DOH! You beat me to that thought :)

Shorter is better. A #2 clippers job is my cut of choice. Means I have to spend exactly no time thinking about my hair for at least a month...

William, You seem lke a really nice guy and I feel really bad asking you this in case you get offended but....

Can you tell me why you always talk so much about your wife?. I find it quite strange, but maybe that's says more about me.....

Not offended at all, Brett. I answered the query earlier, in fact... and I don't mind at all.

Jen's the love of my life, my reason for living, and all that other mushy stuff. :D

She means so very much to me, and I don't mind mentioning her in the context of my posts and stories here on the boards.

We've been married seven months as of today, as a matter of fact, and she tells me that she's never been happier in her life, and I've never been happier in mine, either.

And the regulars know her here anyways, as she posts occasionally. So I don't see anything wrong with bringing her up in reference. :)

And by the way, to stay on topic here, the blond hair thing, that was my idea, not hers. :D

Cheers,
William

You've debated with her before, Brett...

She goes under the handle catgirl2002.

You remember the infamous "bullfighting" thread, I hope. She started it. ;)

I spend all of about one minute on my hair.It depends how I feel on the day. If I am going out somewhere decent, I'll do it properly, but for school or the local shops or playing sport, I just whack some gel in and scruff it up a bit.

I have three options:

The natural boof: My hair goes boofy if I don't put anything in it. For home use or servo visits only.

The roughed up look: Whack some gel in, and scruff it up a bit. Hair ends up everywhere, but in a half styled way that says "I don't care about my hair, but I still put gel in". A school favourite.

The perfectly gelled look: You know how it is for most under 20 guys these days. Hair slicked forward with the fringe up. Yeah, when I do my hair I'm one of those too. I resisted for so long. Long hair, spiked hair - anything but that. But eventually I succumbed, and here I am. For going out or seeing the girlfriend.

The Hitman
