Hamill, Wells, Goddard.

It would be nice to have Wells and Goddard, even though Wells is severely overrated.

Wouldn't want Hammill as he is just too old now, and his body is falling apart.

Mind you, I am completely over losing them as well. Some of the players we got to pick instead of them arevery good. I wouldn't swap Simpson for Wells, and I am very happy with Fisher.

the only one i would want out of thsoe three is goddard

I'd actually take Wells in front of Goddard to be truthful.
Still, given our list at the moment, we really don't "miss them" like we used to. Almost forgotten that Goddard was a bees thingo away from being a Carlton player.

I'll happily admit you are all much bigger than me.

Losing Hamill for me was like being punched in the nose. The initial sting has gone, but there is that annoying numbness that remains. With our poor use of the traded draft pick for Luke Livingston added to Sam Cranage's non-contribution, it feels as though he was stolen from us.

As for Wells and Goddard, I'd happily take either, but wouldn't trade Murphy if you offered them both. He has certainly gone a long way to easing the draft penalty pains and seems to have all the attributes of champion. He is my panacea, no doubt and a few more doses should see me fully recovered, but not quite yet.

Hang in there Monkey. I only took the hessian underpants off today - and it feels good.

It's been a long time since I actually cared about losing them. Hamill, past it, great that St Kilda took those mercenary wages of our hands for a guy who can't get a game. Wells, is there a more overrated player in the AFL? Sure, he's good, but hasn't lived up to his potential thus far and I'd take Simpson ahead of him. Goddard is a player I'd love at Carlton, but ask yourself, Goddard or Murphy? I know who I'd choose. If we had gotten Wells and Goddard it could have meant no Murphy and Gibbs, and I'd definitely prefer the latter over the former.

Wells is seriously over-rated. Moments of brilliance laced with inconsistency.

Hamill is too injury prone. The past two years he's barely had an impact. WAS a gun, but will struggle to get back on the park for 22 games.

Goddard is a gun, would still love to have him

All in all, havnt lost all that much!

Does this mean an end to the annual trade week thread - "Goddard Rumour" etc.............surely not ;)

FWIW, hang on to just a tiny little bit of that hurt.........helps you to celebrate the good times even more, when you can still feel the sting of the bad.:thumbsu:

we dont need goodard. hes a good player not a gun. the one im dirty about is brock mclean, we shouldve had him the year we also got walker. melbourne got lucky and got him, due to our "cheating". imagine him in that midfield. he'd eat nails for the coach

You forgot McLean. That's one that hurts.

I'm only human (that's right, not really a Tasmanian Tiger). McLean will take me another year at least.
