Harris out for the year?

Australia's pace spearhead Ryan Harris looks to have played his last match in 2011 and will not be allowed to return until his body is up to the rigours of five days of cricket.

So one of Starc or Pattinson will be playing the rest of the year. Looks like Starc will get the nod.

Has a lot of detail and basically out for the year is referring to 2011 not next year.

Works out to be the 2nd Test against the Kiwis and the Boxing Day Test against India.

Bollinger fit yet? Pattinson and Starc showed me quite a bit but they also showed they might not quite be ready yet, from the flimsy evidence of all of one innings. Cutting only bowled 9 overs today against the Vics going off with a slight side strain.

Bollinger should probably be fit for boxing day probably. Fat Boy Smith twitted Bollinger was back bowling the other day. He might play in the Shield match on the 6th, not been named for the ODer before it. No doubt if both are fit and we're insisting on playing a left hander Bollinger's the better one. but selectors work in weird and wonderful ways. see uh the left hander thing
