While doing a job on Cripps who had 16 touches and 1 clearance. Always hard to tell how much of a role an individual has in stopping his opponent, and it's possible Cripps wasn't fit etc, but clearly a great outcome.

basically an upgrade on WHE, plays a diciplined team role across multiple positions

This game is exactly why we got him. Him and Pendles switching on Cripps just completely took him out of the contest so they were relying on their outside players. The death be a thousand cuts call by Pendles in the preseason was on display last night.

Hoping to see him play a similar defensive role next week on either Heeney or Warner.
