Good bloke
Absolutely destroyed Reiwoldt yesterday.

No bad for a 'weak link' first year player in his first final. :thumbsu:

A lot of media hacks have been sinking the boot in now with egg on their faces.
Though even today that muppet Jake Niall is still going on about Hale 'torching' him one on one.
FFS - He kicked one goal on Taylor from a one on one contest Jake!

I listened to Danny Frawley calling him a bad decision maker on MMM yesterday. Every single time Harry went near it. It was at that point I realized exactly why Danny Frawley is no longer an AFL coach.

very much favoured by the conditions yesterday so dont get too excited.

However having said that, he looks less "exploitable" than Harley. Good game for a first year player.

Yeah I had to laugh as Talyor was tearing away from a goal-less Reiwoldt yet again and Frawley claiming 'he looks unsure of himself'

Danny sounded like a fool reading from the media play book.

He has been very good all year.

Don't let the conditions sway your judgment it wasn't the only reason.

Danny Frawley is a muppet if he said that.

IMO one of Taylors strengths is he ability to find the ball going the other way, in fact he is very composed and if anything SURE of himself and he generally hits his targets.

The questions I pose to Geelong people is what happens to the forgotten hero and All Australian CHB Egan? I suppose long term it works well due to the ages of Harley and Milburn but short term (2009) will one of Taylor or Egan be forced to miss next year?

I think everyone forgets to acknowledge that Harry is still a first year player. Yes a bit older but still first year at this level. I dont think any othe first year player would be afforded such critisism. Well done Harry you played well and may have silenced a few people who THINK they know waht they are talking about.

Geelong have a LOT of list problems - albeit good problems to have. Who to delist?

Luckily for them Nathan Ablett has opened up one position. But apart from David Johnston and Kane Tenace and arguably Shannon Byrnes, there are not many other obvious delistings or retirements on the list. Unfortunately they may have to make some tough calls on either Egan or Prismall, or both. It will be interesting.

Great Game by Haz Cat, a player of the future for sure.
For a first year player he is reliable, backs himself and been a key for the cats defence this year.
Yes has been beaten on a few occasions, but will learn and only get better, he is a first year player don't forget..
Good on ya Haz Cat,
P.S will destroy Buddy come GF day!!!

Once he is fit, Egan comes straight back into the side without a shadow of a doubt.

However, given reports have suggested he wont start training again until January and having missed a whole year, he'll probably spend probably the first half of the season in the VFL getting his match fitness and timing back.

Then, as unlucky as it is, Taylor will probably make way for him. It's likely that next year will be Tom Harley's last and if he did retire then that frees up a spot for both Taylor and Egan in the same side (assuming no other injuries).

Well done to Taylor yesterday too, absolutely smashed Riewoldt all day and a fantastic way to answer his critics.

Was a great player from the young bloke

Will be interesting to see if he can take the CHB position off Egan

Think Spud may been run over by Plugger, Gaz, et al a few too many times.

Bit of a dumb comment considering that Harry is nothing if not reliable with the ball.

Great game yesterday. Just love the way every player on our list answers the doubters when they arise.

Take your pussy blinkers off. i give credit to Taylor, the kid played well but UNLESS Harry has morphed into a 6 arms and 6 legged super beast called Taylorharleyscarlettasorus it looked to me that Saint Nick was going up against 3 blokes due to field pressure and errant decision making by the Saints further up the field.

I laughed quietly to myself over that one, good work.

Taylor was certainly assisted where possible by other Geelong players, though it was still a great game form him.

"Taylorharleyscarlettasorus"

Hahahahaha I love it :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Great to hear he had a good game, journs just give me the shits,

well done to geelong on taking him at pick 17, there was doubts he would go so high coz of his age

It'll take Egan some time before he's fully fit. When he is back they'll probably start to give Milburn more bench time. Then it'll be a question of the side we're playing, if they're a tall forward line we could see Hunt miss. Also, Joel Corey did a great job in defence a couple of weeks back when we were missing Milburn.

He won't play on Franklin.

Taylor played on Riewoldt yesterday because Roo was up for most of the day with Kosi at FF, playing a more typical Riewoldt role. Taylor also manned him in Round. 4 and did a great job then too.

If Franklin plays the role he did last time against Geelong Scarlett will take him.

Of course Scarlett once again played on the best KP fwd

Good effort to get numbers onto him in most contests...plus they werent sticking for the bloke. Got his hands to enough

Taylor's disposal and decision masking impressed..improving.
