I love him as a player. Think he’ll provide a lot of what we need in the forward half. Pressure, smarts, physical & skilled. Play him!

Loved the way he was thinking through his next disposal - waited ( unlike Allan) until he saw the right option, then hit it.

Exactly spinny. The “pendles” composure is what I look for at VFL lvl. HH has it.

I only saw bits and pieces today, but on what I saw, Harvey stood out big time. Still looks every bit the player he was promising to be before his knee injury. Still very well balanced, good on both sides and makes good decisions. Looked a class above today.

I'd be interested to know where he sits in the plans with Wade and co. Is he ready for AFL and its now just waiting for a spot? It seems like it from the outside looking in.

Im really glad he seems to be on his way back into the seniors.

Hes seems so strong for a little bloke, like he keeps his feet when its hit, and thinks very fast.

The point above about Pendles is a good one, although he doesnt make time stand still exactly.

Maybe he's like Perryman too? Makes quick sensible decisions and executes them well, makes bad situations into good ones almost seamlessly.

Pez goes under the radar too, I get the feeling Fly likes all these unobtrusive types: HH, Perryman, Hoskin Elliot.

I don’t just think he can be a best 23 player that get rotated in and out of the team…

Genuinely think he could be a top 10-12 on list type player if he has a bit of continuity and luck with injury.

Had him as a McCreery-light type player with better skills, but could genuinely be a zac Bailey type player if he can elevate his game.

Nah. Bailey would be a top 2 player on our list. That level of player doesn't just have the attributes they see the game miles earlier and clearer than a bloke who was still outside the best 23 in his third year before doing his knee.

There's nothing to turn from. We played in a prelim last year and the negative nelly's wrote us off because we were at 2 and 3. A few Cornes trolling pieces and panic set in.

I was referring to having young players coming through. People were saying we had no youngsters coming through.
