RoosterLad said:more brilliant advice, this time from the Oceanian Cup Champion and hopefully the "new Guss", i voted for you mate, us bigfooty hattrickers gotta stick together
ive started training as playmaking which is like CM yeah? i guess i have to wear some pain to get some gain, even though i would like to win every game
how long does it take for your players to go from rubbish to half decent? i have few players with a 'passable' attribute most are below that
do you get a player from the youth academy every week? and is there anything which tells you that your players have improved through training? or do you just have to notice the difference?
sorry to ramble on but one last question, do you change your training every week? or just keep it the same for weeks on end?
First of all thnx for voting for me mate
yep us bigfooty hattricker's should stick together
The 2 most important things wen training are 1 - your coach which I see you got thnx to ed gein's advice, and 2 - young trainees. If you can start off with 17 y/o passable playmakers then get 6 of them, if they are too expensive then get 18 y/o excellents. You will need to outlay cash to begin with but will make money back many times over. If you have any player that youre looking to train in PM thats 19/20 and over and doesnt yet have solid PM skill then dont waste your time with him. If u are slightly unsure youre more than welcome to drop me a ht-mail anytime.
Definitely stick with the same training, not just for weeks on end but months on end at least. Some people like myself train the same skill over and over, sell and then start the process again, others switch to a new skill wen they are happy with the skill level attained in the previous training scheme, thats up to the individual, theres no right or wrong way.
That assistant manager program that Ed gave you will help you keep track of your training progress. Get to know all the denominations yourself from disatrous through to divine to familiarise yourself with it all and you'll be able to grasp it a lot easier when just looking at your players or players youre looking to buy.
and finally, Im not in the top division, I just promoted into division II, I think I am just the 2nd div III manager to win the Oceanian cup.

I get a guy sent off and with only 10 men manage to score the winning goal.
