It depends my players usually pop every 8 weeks. All my midfielders are brilliant and my defenders outstanding with a few reserves at excellent.
 
won 7-0 in my league of bots.
all(3) my defenders scored and one of them score 4 goals and his scoring is weak.

how long till i should sell this guy, he just poped to solid and was probably going to sell him at the end of the season or at the start of next season

beaver's army how much money do you have in the bank? Personally i'd sell him and buy a passable 17 year old depending on how much money you have. You're training playmaking i take it?

I won 1-0 today. Amazingly enough i had inadequate (very high) midfield vs wretched (very high) with 80 odd % in possession. Should of scored more, but i guess it was due to the fact i played my 33 year old solid midfielder with wretched form in the striker slot :D He is passable exp and passable leadership on about 26 or 27 points. My next coach.

I'm sitting 6th on the table but equal 1st. 1st to 6th all have 6 points with 7th and 8th yet to register anything. Very tight.

haha, i think everyone on this thread are long gone out of the cup, with the exception of dyertribe.
 
WEll i got 2 penalties in the first half and scored both, then gave away a penalty to it was 2-1 at HT.

Smashed them in the second with 3 goals so it was an easy 5-1 win which puts me top because the team i would consider favourites drew. A midtable side won 11-0 over a new team which hasnt even scored a goal yet. Next week i have a low side then it will be 1st vs 2nd the week after.
 
Won 3-2. Was 3-0 up after an hour so, then it was back to 3-2 after 75. A nervous last 15 minutes but i hung on. Sitting 4th in my division on 9 points from 4 games.

Thats gotta suck, i done that in a cup match of all games a few seasons back. Lost a game i should of comfortably won.
 
My team had a comfortable 8-0 victory to remain in third place. The two top teams are on 10 points and we're one point behind.

Even at this early stage I'm pretty sure I'll finish in third place at the end of season before having a real crack promotion next season.
 
I signed a new winger last week for about 2 or 3 grand, very very cheap. He debuted on Sunday and scored the first goal as I romped to my biggest ever win, 8-0 and i even PIC'ed. This week i play the team in 2nd, i have won 5 from 5, they have won 4 and drawn 1 so its a huge game. The only team that could keep me from finishing top.
 
well on sunday after i knew i had put my team in and press the order button i was unable to play due to having not selected the players. i know this has happen to a few other people and since im in a bot league it doesnt really matter as i will win every game for the rest of the year but just annoying that half of my trainees dont get this weeks training.

anyway won my friendly today against someon ranked 500 above me but used my best 11 since they missed out on the league game. won 5-0
 
I feel stupid asking this having played the game for a year and a half. But does the opponents attack on the right match my defense ratings on the left? Do you know what i mean by this? Like do i tweak my formation (or defense) on the left to stop his attack on the right? Or do i tweak my formation (or defense) on the right to stop his attack on the right?

It's not really a stupid question because it's not something you would have had to worry about when playing us hacks in division 6. ;)

I'm pretty sure that when your opponent attacks on the right hand side it's your left defence that he is attacking. Same as real life when a left back has the right midfielder attacking him.
 
Haha, cheers. I lost 1-0 anyway. There wasn't much i could do really apart from stop his central attack, which i did. Always next week though.
 
I played the 2nd placed team who thumped me both times last season and i got flogged again.

3-0 down at HT and 60% poss, against

scored two late ones to finish 3-2 yet they had 70% possession

very disappointing
 
won 6-0 in mt league of bots. i find that i will get dropped back down to div 6 again after i go up into div 5. there really isnt any competition, no one has scored against me but it worries me that my hat stats of only 95 wont get me very far in div 5 unless i get a very easy league that i will be able to stay mid table.
