),they think they've won the premiership.
What do you expect buddy?
They've had nothing to cheer about for 28 years and now that they have a player who at one stage was rated the second best player in the league, (always behind Judd),they think they've won the premiership.
It will be one of my grandest football memories when we give them a football lesson in front of 50,000 cocky Richmond fans (similar to their 100th year anniversary game) in round 1. Just like what they did to us last year when all the hype surrounded Juddy.
Judd tearing Cousins open a new one in round 1 then raping him again in round 15 for Richmond to miss the finals by a mere 2 points.
It'll happen..

Even Melbourne had a better chance and that is just embarassing. Although I feel very sorry for West Coast supporters for losing two favourite sons.
It'd be like us losing Richo and Browny and they went and played for Collingwood

That's a bit too far.. Richo is a championIt actually still amazes me that the Richmond supporters still believe that they had an inkling of hope of getting Judd. LOLEven Melbourne had a better chance and that is just embarassing.
No, it wouldnt.
Richo is a so-so player who has one good season every 6 years and Brown is a hack.

Lighten up FFS, and join in the fun banter between two great clubs on the verge of some consistent finals action.
The thing with Cousins is, everyone is going around saying there are no risks, and Richmond have little to lose and much to gain.
Most Richmond supporters believe the worst that can happen is that Cousins has another relapse and he's career comes to an end.
The way I see it, worst case scenario is that Cousins has another relapse, whilst taking down several other players with him. Then the fans would tear the stands down saying he was a crap recruit and they should have never wasted their time with him.
That is a HUGE risk, one which I would never take at Carlton. FFS even Collingwood didn't want him. Richmond have clearly put little to no thought into this recruit and are hoping for yet another quick fix, one which is totally "doomed to fail."
I would never trust a drug addict, present or past, with a developing crop of AFL footballers. Absolutely plain stupid.

We all know why they're really excited, and it's because they're hoping that Terry can get his hands on Ben Cousin's bottle of fake tan.

He he he... 'supplements'true...
that and all the muscle supplements that Ben still has that Woosha gave him![]()

Simmonds wins the tap straight down to Foley who pops a hanball out to Cousins who burns Judd off with no pressure then just does a little kick over the top to Cotchin who speeds off then he handballs to Lids who is being chased by Augustus who falls over because he is'nt balanced then heres it is the RICHO MAN comes out of nowhere and COATHANGS JUDD
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
PUNCH ON the stadium is rocking!!!!!!!!!!
Who wants that?????????
In the end Richmond win by 30 points and RICHO MAN is Man of the Match
P.S Augustus is Stevens!!!!!!!!!!!!
tugga said:It's a balmy March evening. The MCG is packed with 85,000 supporters and the umpire holds the ball aloft. The siren sounds to commence the 2009 AFL season. Simmonds wins the hit out, which lands straight into Foley's clutches, he dishes the ball quickly out in heavy traffic to a waiting Deledio, who takes off at amazing speed and draws the player towards him. Deledio times it perfectly and whips out a lightning fast handball to Cotchin, who effortlessly evades a sluggish and still overweight Nick Stevens. Cotchin spots a player out of the corner of his eye. It's Ben Cousins. Cotchin feeds the handball out to Cousins, who sidesteps Judd, takes a bounce, runs to 45m and bangs home a goal inside 15 seconds of playing time. The roar shakes the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground to its foundations and the AFL now realises that the sleeping giant is ready to permanently awaken from its seemingly perpetual slumber. People are standing in the aisles high fiving complete strangers. It feels good to be a Richmond supporter and all is well.
Of course this has been highly dramatised for effect, but the point I'm trying to make is that people are excited again. The off season has just become longer and more unbearable.
