Have we lost Buszan?

We couldn't put him on our senior list this month, so he's put himself in the National Draft. It's highly likely he will get snapped up by some lucky club over east. My question is: Can we retain him in any way possible? Can we stick him on our Rookie List again or is the only way Dean Buszan going to become an eagle:

1) We pick him up in the Draft
2) He doesn't get picked up and tries with us for 2003

Since the lists were submitted already we cannot put him back on our rookie list. We have to either pick him up in the National, Pre-season or rookie draft.

Thats my understanding of it.

If he's training with the Eagles then it means:

1) Woosh simply didn't think he was worth keeping, so he de-listed him. Buszan then would have asked to train at the club so he could prove how good he is to Woosh.
Jaxon Crabb did the same thing when he was de-listed.

2) Woosh wanted to see how his ankle would hold up under a full pre-season before deciding whether to keep him on the list.

3) Like Frodo said, perhaps the Eagles wanted to promote him, but not at the expense of somebody already on the list. So they told him to enter the draft where they'd take him with their last pick.

I really hope it's the last scenario.
I wanted Buszan at the Eagles ever since I first saw him at Peel, and I think he can definitely step up to AFL level.
