AFL has had this problem for decades though. The person retaliating ALWAYS got punished.

Never going to win many games this year with umpires being completely biased against any opposition Hawks play because any 50 / 50 tiggy touch-wood free kicks will NEVER be awarded to Hawthorn but indeed they will to almost any team that we play! Fact!

This is not making excuses but it is obvious and the same with GWS game, crucial frees amount to crucial games lost. Well done AFL!

I just want the umpires to be fair and consistent to both sides at all times.
