Yes, trying to manufacture a new pathway to the flag is totally a #hawthornproblem. Winning a flag from the second 4 is my hope for next year, and winning a Flag from the second 4 with playing 3 interstate finals is the goal for the 5-peat.

I hate the fact that, in 2 out of the last 3 flags, we took the foot off the gas and didn't score any goals for the last 10-15 minutes of the game. Kinda takes some of pleasure out of watching the replays over and over. I always find myself fast forwarding through the last part of the last quarter to the presentations...

We are spoilt but the shitness of this club during the mid 90s until mid 2000s, where I spent my life growing up, was character building.
