Love it when posters just announce they are clueless to the rest of us. Cheers for that, we all know now how to view your future posts.
There is not one similarity in the approach of Hawthorn doing Kokoda and Melbourne doing their flog filled testosterone dominant alpha camps.
And with a real historyYes. The Kokoda Track walk is considerably harder and more dangerous.

Geelong fan can’t understand why superstar midfield surrounded by spuds didn’t decimate a side that had a more balanced talent pool.
Equates loss to “mental toughness”.
The only ominous warning was to Geelong that you’ve sold the farm for three magic beans.
Mate only the weak need to begrudge someone/something they duly deserve. Hawthorns history and success speaks for itself. You guys are great and yes the rivalry is second to none.
Hats off Hawkers!

Its two rounds in. They beat Collingwood who finished 13th a Geelong side by a point that didnt have a backline. Get your finger outta ya butt.
I would suggest looking at the post history of OP, you’ll come to the conclusion that this be a troll accountGeelong fan can’t understand why superstar midfield surrounded by spuds didn’t decimate a side that had a more balanced talent pool.

Are you popular on your board? Serious questionThere is something ingrained in the great sporting teams, fighters and sportsmen that many others just don't have. The great organisations have it and pass it down to each generation. The New England Patriots, the San Antonoio Spurs, the Federers, the Nadals etc. Resilence, belief and a steely resolve. Hawthorn is undoubtedly one of those in the same mould. I'm not saying this on the back of the two Stirling wins that they had recently. It's more than that. The ability to shrug off losing 3 top premiership players and start poor yet push on to finish the year well and start this year even better than the back of last.
More so that they can go in as underdogs in Grand finals yet completely and utterly demolish the opposition. 1991, 2008 and 2014 they played the number one teams in the comp and gave them an almighty belting. It's a thing they have did regularly. Raise their game to another level when they look as though they're on the brink of defeat, or, win when they're not supposed to. The Hawks have the blueprint for success. It's in their DNA.
Not many teams have this resolve and fighting spirit. The hawks do however. It's early days but the way they've started this season, they've sent out an ominous warning.
A like for the Martin Luther King quoteIt is a shame that people can't see a post past the team that the writer supports. Fans are capable of apprecating (and admiring) the accolades of any team without it having to be a troll or insencere.
I still hope that this main board can be a discussion of all things AFL, and the OP is a reflection of that.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day start a thread where they will not be judged by the colour of their team, but by the content of their post.
Hawks are still hack frauds though.
Careful with the Beans analogy around Hungry Tom Hawkins.Geelong fan can’t understand why superstar midfield surrounded by spuds didn’t decimate a side that had a more balanced talent pool.

Cheers mate. Good luck to those that don't like it. Maybe it's a representation of the majority society we live in today. Negativity. They can swim in their own pool they make. Not sure why my Hawks brothers are getting salty on this.
The complement is well received.
I do think great sides have great leaders. We had Hodge, Lions had Voss, North Carey, etc. Selwood's staging I believe has started to impact the Cats strength. It was a joke before and now, as he has slowed down, rather than attack the ball, is pleading for frees. The attempt for a 50 metre penalty at the end of one of the early quarters the other day was Angus Monfries-esque.
That aside, he has carried your mob across the line so, many times against us. i just don't see where your next leaders are coming from. Ablett is the antithesis of a leader, Danger stages too much and plays for himself... maybe Duncan.
The new Hawks leaders are ok, but we have better ones waiting in the wings IMHO.
hawkins is uselessThat isn't fair.
Three magic beans plus Hawkins and Taylor which in this current era that 5 A grade players is premiership contention material.
