The ant played a blinder. 5 goals. What a champ! But the thing that most impressed me was his lack of niggle! And during the forward line scuffle in the 3rd quarter, when things were getting heated, Hayden tackled Walters to get him out of the scuffle, held him down and had a quite word, then they both got up and walked away from the scuffle. Maturity from the both of them.

Probably my favourite player. He doesn't embarrass the club anymore with the shit he went on with. He just channels it into working like an absolute machine. That fifth goal he kicked just showed how hard he runs and how elite his skills are. I love the guy.

Yeah, I was very relieved when I saw that he was getting a rub down and not sitting on the bench with his hamstring wrapped in ice while fielding a sour look on his face.

Not at Paul Medhurst levels but yep he does play noticeably better at home.

Yeah that quote is a bit poorly worded.

He'd be a megastar if he played for a Victorian club? Why? Would he suddenly get better simply for playing in Victoria?

Or would he be labelled a megastar if he played for a Victorian club? That sounds more likely (and immediately shows the bias of the Victorian media).
