You can have your own opinion, I mean it's yours, it's correct in your eyes. However we'll also have our own which seem to differ from yours. Go figure.
I personally enjoyed the whole season, I can see why some would find faults with the finale but I enjoyed it. I was content with the whole thing.

I loved the series. The ending though, was the biggest load of campaignershite I've ever seen. I've not seen or read anything to suggest otherwise.
If people liked it, that's good. People like 'Big Brother'. Religion is popular in America too. Awesome stuff

It wasn't just the final episode that was rubbish, it was the last three.. The first five episodes were excellent, however episodes 6&7 were very mediocre. Initially I though this was necessary for the ending. However, couple the horrible ending with the previous two episodes and nearly half the series was a disappointment. Was in part due to high expectations set in the first half. Finally, the last episode is definitely not universally liked, as noted above. It is the worst ending to a tv series I have ever watched. It was laughable in some parts. The writer has his head so far up his arse. I will not be watching series two unless Jay Laga'aia is cast as a lead and Tommy Wiseau directs.
