On casting for series 2, I'm not sure where I saw it mentioned but the change of storyline each season may have another link to American Horror Story in that Michelle Monaghan may come back for Series 2 which may make sense with the link to the female detectives.
I've also heard that it may be a male/female partnership which probably makes a lot more sense.
I can see Charlize Theron being spectacular in this sort of show.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.
Punch Drunk Love.
Reign Over Me.
Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwartzenneger.
Oh god yes, on the dvd cover it would have a cheesy catch phrase about justice.

I'm not going to go that far, but he does have the ability to deliver a decent performance. He was excellent in those... but i think he has jammed himself firmly in the "i'll do any old shit for money" column now, plus it would take a casting director with balls the size of melons to even consider him.

Someone like Bill Murray, Jeff Bridges or Chris Cooper would be interesting. Well known and established film actors.
Chris Cooper is a great left field choice.
What about John Cusack?
I miss John Cusack.
Cusack and Cage.
Chris Cooper and Sam Shepard are two of my favourite actors who I'd love to see on TV, especially doing a detective role. Shepard's getting on though, a quick check puts him at 70 years oldChris Cooper is a great left field choice.
Put Cusack in a Cage.
It is Mardi Gras night.
