Yeah it doesn't have enough to really dispel my concerns, but at the same time there's nothing there to turn me off. Still a little worried about Vince Vaughn but I expect some pretty amazing work from Colin Farrell here.
I thought Vaughn looked good, looks understated and menacing.

I certainly won't disagree with that off that teaser, but those aren't really my concerns with him anyway. I just have a feeling he will be acted off the screen by Farrell. As good as McConaughey was, Harrelson never looked off the pace when on screen together.

From the teaser it doesn't look like Vaughn is a cop - I think McAdams and Farrell will be the ones to base any acting chemistry concerns on.

Not surprising that it looks good, last season was some of the best directed television I've ever seen. Even without Fukunaga it'll maintain that high level production.

If the story works, you've got an interesting cast to tell it.

They've already announced that Farrell and McAdams are the cops and Vaughn is "a criminal and entrepreneur in danger of losing his life’s work".

My fears over using a different director seemed to be dispelled. Lots of overhead shots of highways and shit. Looks legit.

On rewatch, you're right. But that doesn't mean they won't share the screen. In fact, if showdowns between the two are going to occur, I'd be even more worried.

Can't fault the production though, looks every bit as quality as the first season.

Season 2 is setup to be disappointing compared to how great season 1 was.

Firstly how can you tell a story over 8 episodes when your going to have different directors. Not all of them portray the scenes and story the same way. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a bit disjointed.

And Vince Vaughan is a horrible casting choice.
