How old do you think is the oldest you can grow taller (height wise)? I'm 21 and I have a feeling I've gotten slightly taller recently. I thought boys occasionally grew at that age, but I'm female - although I didn't have a proper growth spurt til about Year 12. Has anyone else gotten taller very late?

I read in a mens health magazine that guys were supposed to stop growing around the 18 mark... but that isnt always the case.

I grew from 5'11" to my current height of 6'1" when I was 19/20...

i've always been short...so here's my growth chart:

12 - 142 cm
13 - 145 cm
14 - 160 cm
15 - 165 cm
16 - 168 cm
17 - 170 cm
18 - 175 cm

...i had my biggest spurt in yr 9 when i jumped up half a foot...sice then, nothing much but a few cm's here and there

my brother grew from about 5'9/5'10 (a bit smaller than me at the same age) when he was 19, to about 6'1 by the time he was 22.

Hopefully i'll do the same - it'd make quick bowling much easier from that height.

183 is 6'0.

182 would be 5'11. (5'11.6ish to be exact )

I stopped at my current height (approx. 170-172cm) when I was 17 I guess.

I've been 174 for a good 6 months.

I grew 11cm in grade 11, from 169cm to 180cm. I'm now 24 and sitting on 184cm - I'm guessing that's as tall as I'll get.

Karl Norman (20y/o) grew from 190cm last November to 193cm this November.

Gives me hope...I'm only 173cm (5, 7/8?)

I reckon I'm the shortest on BigFooty. 4'11" and damn proud of it. I'm 17, and I don't think I'm getting any taller.

The most disturbing thing about all this is that we all shrink when we get really old

I was 185 cms when i was 19. I grew 3 cms by the time i turned 20. Am now 188cms or 6"2

I'm a shortarse, I'm 19 and about 165cm. I think I have actually grown 2cms because I last measured myself a while before that measurement and I was 165 with my shoes on. I hope I am still growing because I am too short.

haha, i used to be the shortest in the year right up till year 9. I changed schools and had a growth spurt, now am 183cm (6ft). People cannot believe how tall i am that saw me when i was a shrimp. I stopped growing at the 18 mark.

An interesting quirk with my growth charts though, i grew a LOT more in the summer months than i did the winter months. Did anybody else have this? i always put it down to not getting any sleep when the aussie cricket team was touring england or the west indies and i'd stay up all night, but it'd be interesting to see if this is a natural phenomenon (maybe the fresh foods are in season and you get more nutrition?)

Yep.

I just did a height calculator thing and it estimated my adult height would be 5'9". HAH! If I ever get to be that tall then there is a God!

Went from 4 foot 4 at age 12 to 5 foot 4 18 months later. Only grown 2 more inches since then and at 28..I've stopped.

I'm pretty sure that's because during the winter months your body is using more energy to keep warm.

I'm 20 and I'm 180 - 183cm. Have been that for the last few years, so I stopped growing around 18 I think.
