I heard a song on the radio the other day and im trying to find it. Unfortunatley I cant remember any lyrics. It started out with a sort of subdued piano melody, then comes in with a very poppy rocky main riff with guitar and synth and a four chord structure. It had a really good guitar solo too. Male vocals.

In fact I think the DJ said before it that James Reyne? considered it the best solo ever recorded.

It definitely wasnt a massive band like that.

If it is a help I recall the DJ mentioning the words "My Sex" or "my ex" or something like that before it as well. Google searches have been fruitless however.

*I think Blue Day fits..forgot how good that was.
