Is he that good???

Has probably been in the best for the cats twice in his career. I think the two games we won by 10 goals or more.

Where is he when we need him. Does not look like taking a mark in the forward line and when he gets a free kick or flukes a mark, can't kick the goals anyway. He is no better than Charlie Gardiner.

Last week against Port he takes a mark and kicks a goal and all the cats fans cheer and say that is what we have been missing. He didn't touch the ball for the rest of the game and all the supporters say Henry is a key to our side.

On the radio Anthony Hudson raves on about him like he is the next Wayne Carey. Carey was dominating games at the same age. He will be no more than a good ordinary player.

Bit harsh on the boy. He creates a contest in the forward half which is what we need.

He's only played 36 games so any comaprison or expectation that he's as good as Carey is foolhardy at best.

The amount of kicks to our forwards on the weekend that landed 5-10m infront of them and were at their feet was an utter disgrace

Agreed.

I've been to some utter insipid performances this year. Melbourne, Freo, Collingwood and now the dogs.

Geelong players, maybe you shouldn't believe the hype and try and perform like we actually want a top four spot. That means you have to lay tackles, kick the ball to teammates, decide to play in the first half!!......etc!

If we loose this Friday I will be hanging up my pathetic little members scarf for the year.

Agreed with all above. H is growing into the CHF role. I think that one day he will be a good player. He has a big tank and has put on alot of kg's over last pre-season. As for his kicking, I remember a guy who plays for Port at CHF who use kick just as bad and didn't dominate games either. Its amazing how the big boys can improve out of sight.

He is also not match fit due to the weeks he had off. Give him another two weeks and let him cover the ground he was covering at the start of the season, and rate how he is going then. Structure is so important, and he demands a key defender.

He adds a signicant presence to our forward, and yes he is not kicking many goals that the moment, but he has only been playing at CHF constantly this year. He takes close to 10 marks nearly everygame he plays, half of those would be contested. He doesnt have the most accurate kick, but he will grow. Give the kid a chance, he is only young and has not yet played 40 games. ANd to say he isnt any better than Charlie, Big H has proven himself and worked hard to get where he is!

I think he is one of the best young marks (especially contested) that i've seen. The problem is that he can't kick. Its almost like watching Holland. Mark then handball. I think he and Mitch Hahn had the same kicking coach when they were younger.

Jack, as a long time lurker and occasional poster, I would have to say that your knowledge of our team appears as limited as that of any theatre going Swans supporter.

You bag H, who was improving every week before his jaw got busted (did you see the Adelaide game - he was the best key forward by a mile).

You bag King (which I'll give you), then say we should trade him for a top 5 pick (dreaming) to pick up a project KPP in a weak draft (OK, we'll wait another 3 years for the amazing Dowler to overtake H as a CHF).

You think Mooney should play CHF, despite the overwhelming evidence that he does not want to, nor does he have the ability to do well there.

You think we should trade for Fevola, a ridiculously overpaid bad influence coming to a club that is about to pay 100% of the salary cap for the first time in ages.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I have yet to agree with one of yours.

Just my opinion boys. Or are you not allowed to have one. I hope as much as you guys do that he can improve but I just have my doubts. To me I don't rate any of our young key forwards McCarthy, Gardiner, Haynes or Playfair. I would like to see Lonergan get an extended chance, and I am sorry but I do think Fevola and Tarrant would be great pick ups. Fevola and Tarrant both give Scarlett and Harley trouble, and when was the last time one of our forwards gave them trouble in an intra club game???

I believe H towelled both of them pre-season. In one way I can see what your after, simply you are after a champion.Currently I doubt any of our forwards would be close to pressing for All Aust. but this doesnt mean they cant do the job. KK, and Im one his critics gives great value to us.He rarely gos with kicking a couple. Ottens when he was playing can gives a bomb pressence and H is develloping in to a player who has a lot of upside. Think of BenG, the man had years at FB before being asked to play at CHF, H is his first year of being a regular, straight back in player. He is no Carey or JBrown that should obvious but given time he will be a top CHF, untill then be patient.

I don't think we can win a flag without a quality forward. I think we should keep turning over the list until we find one.

Ease up mate.. Its just his opinion. I am sure some of your opinions are misguided also.

If this is a personal joke then sorry, but it just seems a little harsh to be saying those type of things to a fellow cats supporter. You both have very valid points only the time will determine who is right or wrong.

Those traits sound familiar.

Sorry, but did you not claim a couple of weeks ago that a Carlton friend posted under your name ?

How do we know which of your posts really are your posts ?

It's funny the "Carlton supporter" seemed to write in the same style as you.

I'm neither, and it wasn't a personal attack at all. Your incoherent rant reminded me of a crack baby, so I'm sorry if I offended you.

When did you disagree with me?
and
How is comparing you to someone a "personal attack"?
