Is Allan Border a Hawthorn supporter? I have a vague memory of hearing this many years ago, but maybe I'm just mixing it up with Mark Taylor and other famous cricketers who are Hawks.

Always wondered how the more high profile supporters acted at the footy. Did he get into it like everyone else or was he more composed?

Ran into this dude at the Doggies final last september, we'd had a couple of warm up pots and were pretty vocal. Saw Roger at one of the bars just beofre the bounce and he was more than happy to get amongst it and have a laugh.

Used to go to the footy with him as a tacker. A personal highlight was one day out at Arctic Park a Collingwood supporter approached him and said, "Mr Rafferty my brother is in trouble with the cops and needs a lawyer...."

Always wondered how the more high profile supporters acted at the footy. Did he get into it like everyone else or was he more composed?

He got into it, not quite as rowdy as everyone else around him. I dont think he had as much of a go at stirring up the handbaggers fans sitting in the next aisle (other side of the steps), like the rest of us did. But he certainly cheered our boys on after every goal etc.
For the record he didnt have great seats either, i was quite suprised to see him sitting up on the top deck near us.

I sit pretty close to Pete Rowsthorn... he seems quite calm during matches, but he's usually with his kids, so I guess that's reasonable.

Subaru is quality, bulletproof and good resale with some highly desirable sport models thrown in. Whoever said it's the new Volvo is just jealous cause the diff in their falcodore is noisy.
