I suspect the contract is just that Port will have home team rights to guernseys and GC have away team rights, but since GC always wear their home strip because there's no clash, that's what they'll do.

Almost as stupid as "it's in the contract" but we're having an argument about it now and making empty threats about what might happen if GC wear their home strip.

If it is a water tight binding term of the contract, the only repercussion is that GC won't be invited back next year? (Even though the AFL decide that, not Port).
