The disguise system isn't as flawed as all of those reviews made it out to be. For isolated levels, it works exactly the way it should. But for some of the more sprawling levels, it does shit me that every fry cook [insert whatever profession] in Chicago - not only knows every other fry cook [whatever] - but has the gall to alert the ****ing cops/guards! What a dick!

Loving everything about this so far, even if I lack the patience required for 'silent assassin'.

Hawaii was a pretty ****ed up payoff. Glad I iced that prick.
 
Chose Hard difficulty first up, I need to have the lay of the land before I go for Purist mode.

The instinct feature isn't as bad as it was made out to be by Hitman fans, the gameplay seems to blend nicely with the feature.

Only done the Prologue, but it's Hitman all over. Much harder though than the old games, definitely a lot more nuance and depth to the AI.

Well **** this, my game has just shat itself. Has frozen 3 times in a row when i press start, goes to "This game saves data automatically" etc and then just freezes.

The game has been good so far and I am happy that I got it at Beat the Bombs price. My one complaint about the game is the disguise system which has basically become useless.

PS3 by any chance ? I'm having the same problem, first cut-scene it freezes every f'n time. Have had the same problem with Assasins Creed and Resi Evil 6. Searched everywhere online hoping that i could find something but nothing yet. I know it's not my console because older games work seems as if newer games won't work on the ps3.
 
It's so hard to get rid of my old Hitman instincts (which I'm surprised have come back so fast!). The urge to murderise everybody in a level and then hit restart always comes in.:( But it's much harder to kill everybody like that now with the AI being smarter with more fire power.

The disguise system is a bit of a downer. I get where they were going with it, but it just doesn't toe the line enough between usefulness and being exposed. And I can't seem to get the blend in function to work. I had a disguise successfully work once (to the point where everyone wasn't instantly suspicious that is), but otherwise it just hasn't provided enough incentive to switch from the suit and tie to something else (other than the challenges obviously).

Still very much enjoying the game, and liking the story to go along with it as well.

Nah xbox 360, took half an hour to get it working, froze on the cut-scene 6 times for me.

I know it's not my console as it runs all my other games fine without any problems, it's just this game that it is freezing.

Yeah, it's a bit annoying how you get a disguise but everywhere you walk the yellow arrow pops up showing that you're about to be exposed, and you end up having to hold RB (xbox) alot, i mean, they should have made it that unusual behaviour get's the AI thinking, for e.g running around, standing still for too long etc. Apart for that though i'm loving this game, heaps of replayablity.

At least its not just the ps3 then. Still can't get mine to work, i've given up all hope on doing so. I'll be trading in for a 360 again, never had performance issues with the 360 and i dare say Hitman would be better on the xbox anyways.

That sucks man, hopefully you can get it working somehow.
 
Likewise, i was highly anticipating this game as i was with AC3 and RE6 and have had nothing but problems :mad:. Maybe converting back to XBOX will solve the issues :D

Sucks big time :(. It must be a PS3 thing because i have seen more people with complaints of freezing that are on the PS3, had the same issue with AC3 and RE6 or any other game that has been released in the last couple of months. Traded my PS3 in today for a 360 and swapped my Hitman ps3 copy for a xbox one so i'm hoping that i'll be able to play.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but now that i got myself a 360 i haven't had any freezing issues as of yet touch wood.

So far i'm enjoying the game thoroughly.
