Lioness, I have heapsa pen pals from mostly Japan and other parts of Australia, it's a great way to keep in touch with other parts of the World.
It's like havin a whole other friend base. I have met tons of my penpals, a bunch of us went down to Hobart last year and met up - funny part is we all write to each other so it was really cool.

But yeah, some of them are GREAT friends, like I have met them heaps and all. Even met one from Germany, that was excellent.
That's kinda how the Hobart thing came along, she visited down there and we all went. I have heaps thru England, so I will eventually make a trip there to see them. Cheap accommodation too
