WA is expected to go top 5 at this years Draft. As Adelaide looks likely to finish bottom, this kid looks the goods. A definite steal if taken outside the top 5!!! :)

We won't finish bottom.

After two rounds though, I can't see us finishing much out of the bottom 4. At this stage Hawthorn and Richmond don't seem to have overtaken us, with the Bulldogs it is less clear but I still think we'll finish higher than them. Collingwood may also be worse than us. Essendon are being written off but I don't think they are quite that bad. That's where I think we're at, still on target for a 10th -13th finish.

I thought this could have been about Dean Brogan..little bit in Crackers columm in Inside Football about how he is out in the cold with Primus and Lade firing. Do we need a Premiership ruckman?

no we dont need Brogan (he will be 27yo next year and anyway we have enough rucks: Biglands,Hudson,Meeson,Maric - and that aside

(i) he would cost us a high draft pick which we cannot afford to give away at our stage of development of our list
(ii)i doubt Port would wish to release him given that Primus will be 31yo next year and Lade 30yo and then DeLuca 19yo

however of course if they wanted to trade him for one or more of our renowned 3rd tier players (Shirley & co) i would jump at the trade - and we would throw in just about as many of them as they want :D
