How did you fare in your round 3 tipping and what did you learn?

Got 7/9 pies & cats let me down

Cats dropped me to 8 from 9. Learnt nothing, still a few sides I'm not totally sold on have had creampuff draws to start the season.

I got 8. Geelong let me down.

What I learnt:
Carlton are the real deal
The Cats and Pies both look out of sorts - can't see either making the top 4 at this stage
The media have severley overrated us - If we make the finals, it will only be on the basis of a soft draw. Still a long way to go

Not really related to this round but next week is a big test for the Eagles. Their first real tough opponent.

7/9 - learnt that Collingwood have lost a lot in little time, that Carlton might actually be coming this time, and not to tip Port just because they're not as poor as they were last year...

7/9 tipping, Collingwood by 8 was badly wrong, margin hurts as well. Geelong vs North game wrong as well. (Didn't tip Geelong in the streak thing, so up to 13 now)

Learnt:
-I'm shit at tipping margins in Carlton games (ie, I have underrated them)
-North are capable of a lot more then I thought we could do
-Reestablished my view that GC are going to be awesome in a few years - and they would beat Port Melbourne
-Football is a week long game
-I wrote Nick Riewoldt off to early last year
-Jordan Lewis is a very good player

Essendon ruined my multi. Never should have backed them 40+ and argued the point with myself extensively beforehand. Lost out.
