Still very noticeable in parts. Friedrichstrasse becomes more stark almost instantaneously when you cross from west to east.
The area around the Stasi Museum (which used to be their headquarters) still feels like it's been lifted straight out of a concrete block cut out that you'd expect to find in some constructed workers' city in Siberia.
Too similar I reckon.USSR vs USA kinda reminded me of Coke v Pepsi.

Classic propoganda shot. Probably had pride of place on Stalin's fireplace to gaze at when he wasn't dispatching orders to send his next enemy, real or imagined, off to the gulag, or show trial, or firing range.
Interestingly, Pepsi is massive in Russia these days. Coke barely makes a dent on the economy there, which is crazy considering how Americanised their economy become once the market opened up. Russians love their Levi's.USSR vs USA kinda reminded me of Coke v Pepsi.
can somebody please explain the OP to me

So which pic is the actual flag? I remember it without the star.

So some flags have a coloured in star whilst others have an outline, that doesn't help either.does that look right you reckoin>?

It's always had a star.the flag didnt used to have the star in it
just the hammer and sickle
Staged pictures but interesting none the less.
The sad thing is that for a certain video game (I don't remember the exact one) the cover was a version of that photo but in the American version they edited the flag to make it the US flag.
