Geez how good would it be to knock of Port today,not only for the weeks rest and hopefully getting a couple of players back,but also to stick it up all these hach journos and commentators who have written us off all week.

Yeah i'm suprised how much everyone has already written this game off. Even on Friday night, ten commentators were saying how Essendon would have preferred to face Sydney at teh SCG in the finals then at TS - Apparently we've lost already!!

A win today would quite possible be one of our biggest ever!

It's annoying the way everyone's treating a game against Sydney in the finals as a bye. Hopefully the team will use it as motivation, the way Essendon did against Freo when lots of 'experts' wrote them off.
