I personally haven't had the chance to watch many Collingwood games this year. Just wanted to know how Medders has gone so far? The guy obviously had talent when he played for us, even kicking 9 goals in the one game. Faded away badly towards the end but thought a change of scenery might kick start him?

How has he played? Thanks.

When he came i had an open mind, but after seeing him in action id gladly
pay for his return air ticket.

The facts are if he cant get a game at Freo, His going to struggle at the pies...

Going well. Has surprised me in the chasing and tackling (which he didn't do at Fremantle), especially how hard he tackles and he actually puts his head over the ball. Has struggled to keep on to his spot though. He has played a good game and had to drop out because of returning players.

Take any overly negative comments with a grain of salt (not talking about the above post really). People are biased and hurting over their favorite Tarrant leaving.

Jabsco,if ya talkin about me, be under no illusions,no one is happier than me Tarrants gone, but facts are Meddys not in our best 25 let alone 22

Pretty good pickup, finally seeing Reid and medhurst together on the weekend we have definately won that trade, knows how to find the goals, did superbly against the tigers before getting a bad injury, just back this week for the first time since that injury really, look forward to seeing him kick some more goals over coming weeks

he isnt the greatest team oriented player going around but i believe MM will change this. He is the type of coach that simply wont take it and will ultimatly let him know.

I dont think hes settled in just yet and not use to the environment of the Collingwood forward structure but that will come.

I think he is still trying to find his niche in the side. Sort of hard with an abundance of HFF/FP types.

Has made some questionable decisions at times. Eg. torp attempt against Freo and playing on from 45 on Sunday night that people may see as selfish but have been impressed with some of his one percenters.

The hit and give he took against Freo for a Didak goal was fantastic and his chase down on Sunday night for a crucial holding the ball decision was great. If he continues with these sorts of play he will win the Pies supporters over very quickly.

Don't forget he can also turn a match of his own boot ala his three goals in the last quarter against the Tiges on one leg to help us over the line earlier this year.

Overall happy with his output so far keep it up Medders!

2008 will be a better year for Medders. Hopefully a full pre-season and the advantage of knowing his team mates a bit better going into next year.

He makes some errors, but there is a lot to work with. I think our coach will make him a better footballer and he will benefit when we get a full side on the park and have all our forwards up and running.

I'm confident that he can average 2 or 3 goals a game when he earns the respect of his team mates.

Starting to show some top evasive skills and quick thinking in tight, as well as toughness. I think he will start to surprise most people, especially after a solid preseason, and may well become an important attacking midfielder also if he puts in the hard work. May even turn out to be an electric steakknife.

He's dangerous. Has really only delivered once, but opposition clubs have to man him with a defender who can contest on the lead, which might stretch a lot of teams and give leon, daisy, didak, lockyer and the like a better chance to present. Him and and the draft pick still a great result for us.

Has worked hard, but still makes horrendous decisions and wouldn't be in our best 22 when all are fit.

I think hes goin well. Definately worth his spot in the team, looks alot more of a team player than i thought he would be. His chase and tackle late in the last quarter last week would have been hailed a match winner if we won. Quite pleased.
