Fraser & pick 14 = Sydney

Jolly + Pick 28 (From Brisbane in the Buchanan trade) = Collingwood

Pick 28 = St. Kilda

Ball = Collingwood

Your not! He should have stated that the pick they gained from offloading Buchanon (#28) would be sent to us then we pass it on to St Kilda for Ball... I can understand your confusion

It would seem like a fair price for Ball because of his injury concerns, but i doubt very much that Sydney would accept Fraser + pick # 14 for Jolly + pick # 28

The club aren't trading one ruckman in for another.

We are trying to add ruck depth on our list.

Jolly/Fraser will be the best ruck combo we've had as a club for a very long time. Wood also in the mix.

You need more than 2 ruckman on the list. This is why Fraser (who is contracted) is a required player.

I'm pretty sure the club will get both these deals done.

Also, TRS responded to a Saints supporter asking for Rus in a trade- the club will not be trading him. They just re-signed him to a two yr deal. He will either make it or die with us.

I have tried to come up with the best possible trade scenario to get both of them and it's doing my head in so I have given up!!!

Basically I'd hate to see any of our youngsters still in thier development stage given up to another club but I suppose there is no room for emotion these days in footy.

Two things that I would like to add is, who would want to be a "trade dealer".
I reckon it would be the worst job in the world and secondly Fraser won't be going anywhere next year.

14 and syd upgrade their 4rth rnd pick for our 3rd = jolly

our 2nd rnd + 1 of cox/toovey/moneybags = ball, reason behind this is

watchin raph clarke especially on GF i think one of these players would have

his position wrapped up and have more improvement in them.

i doubt we will be trading fraser. with bryan reportedly finished at the pies we need 3 rucks on the list so jolly fraser and wood it will be. jolly and wodd/fraser will be a good combos, best we have had in a very long time

Considering the swans swapped 22 and Buchanan for 1 player in Sydney, you'd think they must believe they'd have a second 1st round selection by weeks end.

And the shit Roos talks about Seaby only coming across as backup is bullshit.

Seaby wanted an opportunity as a number 1 ruckman. What's the use of moving from Cox's shadow to Jolly's. Roos is full of shit.

Yep, I actually think these values are not too far from reality.

Possibly swap Cook for Scott Reed (he is a sydneysider on our rookie list and the Swans were interested in him before he signed with us) as Cook may not have quite enough currency. We also have a fair bit of depth at that position.
