4-6 games I'd say. If our young players such as Hislop, Myers and Pears come on quicker than expected than I guess I could see us winning quite a few more games than that.

But at the moment, this is just a developing year for us, so I don't really mind how low we finish, as long as it's not last.

Last year, when I found myself hoping that Carlton would win a couple of games towards the end of the season, I wondered what it would feel olike to be a supporter of a club that was in their position.

Well, I'm here now, and the view isn't that bad. I want us to tank and tank so badly that we are ensured last place. I want that first pick. There is no chance that we will play finals this year. And with the Gold Coast and Western Sydney messing things up in the next few years, this is our best chance at picking up some new talent.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see any more football like the last quarter against the Swanies on the weekend. I would like us to not win another game untill the rest of the clubs were at least two winns clear of us. If we lost every game by less than two goals, that would suit me just fine. Shelakings I'm not up for, but exciting, close losses week after week sound great.

There was a time when I despised people like the way I feel now, but now I am here, I am over it. I want the system to change, but until it does, let the bad times roll - the good times will surely follow.

Just a clarification, and an admission. As much as I am claiming that I want us to lose - and believe me I do, it is the way the system is set up - on matchday as much as my head says "lose", I amj still yet to convince my heart that I should barack against us - it just isn't in my blood.

I think we will win another four this year and finish 14th.

My head says 5 - 7, but the optimistic side of me thinks that the return on of Lucas and a relatively easy draw could see a thrilling chase towards the end of the season. I hope so... i really do. I was thinking yesterday how can a team which fought for the top 8 last year be so far behind? of course injuries have crippled us, but I think we need motivation... last year it was all about Sir James Hird, this year we have nothing sparking us... just a thought...

I hope we finish second last, I do hate losing but it's the only way up, our older plaers just aren't up to these quick movements on the field such as Pav & JJ, and getting a real quality kid adding to our other strong young ones, should be a good thing for the future...I don't want to finish last though like a person said before because I wouldn't be able to cope with the 'wooden spooners' tag, it would ruin all the preseason positive energy...

4-7 wins is my estimate. We are struggling immensely due to crippling injuries and players out of form. Perhaps in the back half of the season we will manage to string a few wins together with the return of a few key players namely Lucas.
Winning against Richmond this week is also a possibility. They are an extremely average side. We need to contain Richo and Foley. We can match them in other aeas. The form guide says we will lose. In our next 5 games we could win 3 of those with games against Richmond, Eagles and Carlton. Cannot see us beating Hawthorn and Adelaide (interstate). We could also lose all 5 games which is a very real possibility:eek:.
If we were to win 3 more games for the year I would love nothing more than for those victories to be against Pies, Blues and the arrogant Hawks.
