i'm not really interested in how your teams are doing at the momemet?However, i'm curious as to how far teams will develope this year. does every1 out there have enough cash cows to upgrade enough cheapies?does every1 have enough trades?

I think I'll have enough trades/cash to get me 4 upgrades over the next 5 rounds or so, but then I will be left with only 4 trades, little cash and Ibbotson on the field.

Hoping for:

Backs: Cornes, Shaw, Goddard, Burgoyne, Milburn, Ibbotson, 300-350k defender (SDT, Selwood)

Mids: Thompson, Ablett, Swan, Kornes, Stevens, Corey/Bartel (Cotchin, Rookie)

Rucks: Cox, Simmonds (West, Cartledge)

Forwards: Pav, JB, Deledio, Didak, Porplyzia, Chapman, Riewoldt/BJ/Franklin, (Tippet, Valenti)

Essentially, would improve like this on the field

Out: Cloke, Palmer, Rioli, Wonna
In: Chapman, Corey/Bartel, BJ/Riew/Franklin, 350k Defender

Would be a good improvement I would say...

Don't think that will pan out that way; just last week I was set to bring in BJ for Cloke, then Chapman next week. Now I'm getting Chappie and unsure on BJ... a week is a long time in footy.

Problem I see for my team is that I won't have enough trades to fix up my emergencies, and I'll only have 4 trades from about round 13.

Current team, with 50K in bank and 13 trades in hand, and factoring in these two likely trades this week:
out Hill/Rioli, in J Brown/valenti (leaves me about 145k salary space)
CAPS = keepers, (brackets) = substitutes

CORNES SHAW BURGOYNE JOHNCOCK Symes Waters Wonaeamirri (Proud) (Thompson)

CROSS KORNES STEVENS Johnstone Palmer Griffen (Ibbotson) (Browne)

COX SIMMONDS (Kreuzer) (Meesen)

RIEWOLDT DIDAK BJ PAVLICH J.BROWN Deledio Porplyzia (Tippett) (Valenti)

Leaves me 11 trades remaining. I'll look to Wona to Milburn/McLeod in a few weeks time. Ibbo downgrade and Griffen up to Geelong mid when the time's right. That'll pretty much settle my team, leave eight trades remaining and then borderlines like Symes/Waters/Deledio will be slowly upgraded as injuries permit.

Those are the upgrades I am looking at to finalize my team. Should leave me with 5 trades for injury. Will have Ibbo in my backline which may be questionable but if he keeps up his form it is reasonable to keep him with the way the backline has been scoring.

Still have 3 more that I plan on upgrading (Houli, Bradshaw, Palmer). Will probably reach my peak in ~2 rounds time with 4 trades remaining (for LTI/late upgrades) - my weakest link (starting XXII) will probably be Bradshaw/B.Jones.

Currently ranked in the top 500, but I don't have a good feeling about it (I think I've chewed up too many trades too quickly).
