Will post memories soon, but this slideshow is amazing.

Good watch, thanks for posting. I hadnt seen the vision of MOL with the tears, so sad!

I watched the game on the Australian Channel here in HK and the producers of the that Channel have no idea. Once the game was over the cameras went straight off, no vision of the boys being carried off, no consideration that 3 of our best players were retiring and that the audience may want to see the accolades for their efforts and emotion surrounding it.

I'd watched tennis on and off since about 2002 because that was the only sport I played, and I did a bit of cricket and soccer at school so I'd watch the Ashes and World Cup, but that was about it.

How can you cope Stat? You watched Tennis on and off and the Ashes once very two years and the World Cup once every four years. What about League or Union?

Hmm, I dunno. As a youngster I think I was more interested in other things, can't really remember what for the life of me now. :p

Though to be fair as a youngster of about 3-4 I went along to see the Swans beat Carlton (I can remember the red and white team on the field and the navy blue, recently checked with my Dad who took me) so I DID have some early exposure, can't really call the Freo game in 06 my first live Swans game. ;)

Before I was into footy I used to go with my auntie to Geelong games when I was little because she lived there. Wasn't very interested, knew about it but switched off in exasperation whenever footy came on tv. I expect many people do the same.

I started loving it around 2002 when Roos became coach (never really liked Eade).

I was pretty lucky in that I didn't have to wait as long as so many have to experience a premiership, but I was as utterly devastated as any diehard when we lost in 2006.

That's why its such a shock for me I expect - Mick, Leo and Crouch have always been there for me. But now I have the chance to see a team start from the beginning :)

I scour the tv for footy games, any games now. Can't imagine not loving footy!
