Just to add is the reason why I respect wrestlers like Austin is because he knew that he couldn't perform at his peak due to his age and his neck injury so he retired from wrestling. Unlike ****heads like Flair and Hogan who don't know when to stop. People pay good money to watch good wrestling something that Hogan couldn't offer in his prime let alone now!! **** off Hogan.

Off-topic, but Flair still wrestles because he has squandered all the money he's made over the years from wrestling and is incapable of doing anything else. Grantland ran a piece on his financial woes about 12 months ago. Worth reading.

I havent watched wrestling in a probably 15 years as it's boring nowadays. Back in the 80's and 90's it was entertaining. Then they went and tried to find real wrestlers with technique and all that. I didnt want that, I wanted huge blokes running into eachother, general violence and characters!

In today's wrestling all the wrestlers seemed to be named like Bob Peters, Barry Sanders, Geoff Winter, Brian Westlake. Instead of Koko B.Ware, Andre the Giant, The Million Dollar Man, Ravishing Rick Rude.

CHARACTERS. It was never about the wrestling, it was about being entertained. Today's wrestling is shit, has been for near on 15 years.

It's why id like to see Hulk Hogan come back in the Royal Rumble. If it still like it used to be where a competitor enters the ring every 2 minutes. Bring him in late cos he is old and tired ... like at 25. The pause, the american hero music, all in gold and red. Hulkamania runs wild. Then he gets beat up a bit, someone does his finishing move on him but he jumps up, does the classic shake of the head, then goes batshit and throws like 7 dude out of the ring. Wins the Royal Rumble. Then retires.

Greatest thing ever. Id tune in and watch.

beating hogan 20 or so years ago is huge. Beating Hogan in 2014 is wrong. DON'T BEAT THE ELDERLY
