Unsolved Hunt for Simon Davies

Police have appealed for public help to locate Simon Davies, who set up “Shelters For Street Kids” in the 1980s in Kings Cross.

The “shelters” were used as bases from which homeless children were gathered and subjected to sexual assault by Davies and his “clients”.

It was a high profile organisation which counted Bob Hawke among its board members (there’s no suggestion Hawke had any involvement or knowledge of the crimes).

Allegations have come to light in recent years and Davies has disappeared, believed to be in hiding in Europe.

Their cover is to set up as helpers when the real agenda is exploitation, something similar going on in South Australia as well which I think was essentially a sex trafficking operation.

I hope they find this one.
