Would any of you seriously take Voss as a coach. I know he is inexperianced but being under Leigh Mathews all those years would of helped greatly. Also he is fresh out of the game so he knows the way it should be played. Leigh Mathews said that if he is to coach it should be away from Brisbane Lions so there is no problem there and it would be a fresh change to the club. So would you have him as a coach, or if not, as an assistant?

Long bow to string but one could draw a comparison to Keane at Sunderland. Great player for his club, retired then stright away, management. Lifted the Black Cats up to the top of the Championship. Not saying this will be the same and it is one mighty big risk to take. Even after that story I would say no to Voss, agree that he would be a fine assistant, would love to see him don a tiger top, would perplex the eye...

Mark Harvey I would consider more strongly for the senior post.

That said, Wallace ain't goin' nowhere.

Actually, lets get Knights as coach. Go with the whole Roos/Worsfold "we've played and loved this club".

Its a massive punt but so is recruiting **** heads that put on the Richmond jumper.

Akermanis and Matthews have both said that Voss is not ready to coach. Both said he needs to be an assistant first. Many champions don't make good coaches. They have relied on instinct and talent and don't neccessarily know what they have learnt - or how to teach it to the Chris Hyde's of this world.

Many of the better coaches (Malthouse) were pretty average players, Sheedy and Worsfold were good but not really in the super-star class. A guy like Neil Craig didn't even reach those heights. 'Star player' isn't necessarily a must-have on a coaching resume.

If that bogan comes to the Tiges, I would never buy another membership again.

Guess what, Terry aint leaving folks.

Start a new line of thinking because it ain't gonna happen.
