Im in a predicament

my work has asked if I can go to Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga for 10 days.
The dates for this are the 20th to the 30th September, 2010

I dont think I need to explain the predicament

forgot to add i need to give them an answer by friday so everything can be booked

so ... do i do the all expenses paid trip or not go with the chance we could make a granny?

i would fake an abduction on the 19th, make a ransom note by cutting out all the letters from different magazines.. have the missus make up a few have you seen this man posters and put them around your work and where you live but then like a fairy tale ending your returned safely on the 30th, giving you 2 and a half days to celebrate what will hopefully be our grand final win.

Tell them you have a minor but important surgical procedure planned for the 24th, but that you'd be able to travel by the 27th. They've got to be a bit flexible. Just don't mention the 25th, or they'll twig.

Tell them you are happy to do the trip BUT that as a major sponsor of a Collingwood Player you are required to attend the Grand Final should they make it. If they are happy to fly in and out for the game then it's a deal.

I am on this line of thinking, Real life shouldn't take a back seat to football and as is pointed out above if you do it your setting yourself up for disappointment if we don't win the flag.

I'd be going and organizing / planning to make sure I can get to a t.v with the game or finding a source of soft copies of the game to download and watch o/s.
