...our supporters, haven't seen this many united in anger for a long, long time.

The groundswell of emotion has to reach the club this week, there will be some emotionally-charged people about at the 'G come Adelaide. God help the players if they don't perform.

Hopefully it does. I think the expectations that artist from last year's improvement had probably caused a bit of it. I think most thought those hideous soft games where just didn't compete were a thing of the past. Wrong

Darling for WCE
Five games in and he is killing them.
We need types like him.
Mean, tough and a goer now not in 3 years time.

I have never seen so many MFC supporters on the board at one time as there was after the game last night.

All full of passion (and rage), thats one good thing I guess. At one stage there were 260 or so at the one time.

Bartram. Not nearly enough love or kudos from our supporters. Has turned into a fine small defender.

From an opposition point of view, Jack Watts was impressive. For all the pressure he's been under from the #1 tag and all the shit he's copped, he showed real signs of repaying the faith shown in him. Presented well, clunked a handful of strong marks and generally was up and about in a game where many of his more senior teammates were well down.

Also copped a massive hit from Glass in a marking contest and came up hobbling, but shook it off and ran out the game, dispelling the myth that he's at all soft.

Absolutely love his tackling technique as well. Every tackle he lays sticks and he really drives players into the ground hard. Unfortunately he is one out here.
