Who will be the Big improvers for 2006? Who will step up to the plate?

Any Ideas?

I think the likes of Simpson and Carazzo will continue improving while I have a feeling Walker might start to show everyone how good he actually is.

Fisher as an under rated player by opposition sides could well prove to be more than handy given a full season.

Hopefully most if not all of the list improves! This is absolutely crucial that this happens before, during and after the 2006 season.

Midfield improvers
- Simpson: bit bigger, fit and super quick still - to play wing/flanks
- Walker: has bulked up, fit, quick & needs confidence - to play wing/onball
- Russell: taller, bigger, quick, endurance better - to play defence/wing
- Carrazzo: bigger, fitter, confident - to play back flank/onball
- Scotland: slimmed down, fitter, menatlly stronger - to play onball

Walker.

With the focus shifting off him and onto our new recruits like Murphy, I believe he will finally live up to his potential and silence all his critics.

Fev.

He'll be more consistent and will get his act together, we'll see him move from 50 goals a season to 70 or so. Just need the midfield supply.

Big improvements will come from most of the team due to the age:

Fevola - 25 and entering the prime.

Thornton - has good experience, has bulked up even more.

Walker - Will be a gun, just needs time

Carrazzo - Is a good player, now more experienced and fitter

Russell - Bigger and stronger with a year under the belt

Waite - Ready to be a superstar

Fisher - Talented, determined and smart player. Put on more muscle and always has an impact.

Simpson - Will now have self belief and has the talent.

Lappin - had a downer and will be better in 06.

O'Hailpin - getting better everyday.

Betts - Has a year under his belt.

fev can only kick goals if only they can deliver the Ball correctly to him, not half volly or way over his head he's no inspector Gadget ;) and he;s no superman either look at lloyd see how their midfielders pass it to him correctly, please carlton take note of how other clubs mid filders pass to their forwards if you get that right then ya forwards would reward ya with goals :)

Houlihan is never going to be a hard player and I think we are going to have to accept that a little bit. It ********es me off as much as the rest of you but you can't change people, (ask my ex-fiancee.)

He's probably the best kick to a leading forward in the competition and as long as he's put back in his rightful position on the half-forward flank pushing up the ground, I can't see why he couldn't crack the top five in the B and F.

I'm putting all my support behind Justin Davies to improve.

He will be given limited chances to do so, but as soon as our first preseason game is underway he must start playing for his future and overall improvement to become an asset to the Carlton Footy Club.

Simpson, Bentick and Walker. Simpson's self belief is so much higher nowadays, particularly compared to his first 3 senior games when he did not get a possession. Look for him to be come a goal scoring wingman in the way that Campo used to be many moons ago.

Bentick and Walker need to be given plenty of opportunity in the midfield next season to allow them to blossom. Bentick has proven that he can be a big possession winner and we all know that Walker is a class act who just needs to believe that he belongs in the big time.

He'll have the first 4 weeks to think about it!!!
