If we were allowed to pick 5 types of players to fill requirements in the side, rather than the lottery of our picks, what types of players do you think we require.
My thoughts are:
1. A quick 180cm. goalkicking midfielder. We already have an abundance of big-bodied midfielder's. Need an injection of pace with an ability to kick goals as well (ala Riccardi).
2. Small/medium defender. With Sando gone, Callan injury prone and Wojo coming back from a knee another of this type of player is a high priority. Josh need's some assistance.
3. A young developing ruckman. King and Otto will probably finish around the same time, also both are injury prone. Need someone developing to assist Blake. Can't keep destroying Mooney.
4. 187cm. versatile utility. Yes you guessed it. Someone to take Dasher's place in 3 or 4 year's time. Versatile backman who can go mid or forward if required.
5. Small/medium goalkicking forward. With Thurley and Haynes gone definate requirement here. Will allow GAJ and Chappy more flexability in time. Left- footer would add nice variety.
