Seems like the Yaapies are only going for 226 to keep us out of the finals.

It's one thing for NZ to maximise their chances by trying to lose. It's another for SA to try and manipulate who their opponents are. I hope the arrogance comes back and hits them with an NZ defeat.

whats the difference between this and what the Aussies did in the world cup?? They are both doing the same thing. SA would prefer to play NZ in the finals.

I agree with you Fat Red, but they did nothing against the rules. What goes around comes around I suppose. Its got to the point where I'd prefer all the finals to be washed out, so no one wins it!

Nothing like a cheap shot, is there.

I'm not claiming moral superiority for Australia. But there is a difference between not trying because it helps you get through tho the finals (Aus in world cup, NZ on Friday), and not trying so you don't get to face a particualr aopponent that you're afraid of.

I don't like either one. but the second is worse.

As for the underarm incident, I hate that too. But at least they were trying to win the game.

And lets not forget in the 92 world cup NZ threw their last game to make it impossible for Aus to make the finals. God its going to be fun watching SA trounce the hacks..
